I use a $20 Alcatel phone from Dollar General. Do I need more?
I have had my Dollar General phone about a year. I pay about $25 a month for airtime. I have an ebook reader and a decent camera and a calculator and an alarm on my phone. I could download a bunch of games and apps but I don't because I prefer to do that kind of thing at home on my PC.
Do you consider me a loser because I don't have a $500+ iPhone? I don't. I can't imagine why anyone would ever need more than my $20 Dollar General phone.
No - you don't need more unless you want more.
I work at a tech company. I have Wi-Fi at work and Wi-Fi at home. I have an Android Tracfone and since I hardly use a cell phone I pay about $8/month for service (with Tracfone you can do that with 90 day 60 minute cards which triple on the Android Tracfone to 180 minutes, 180 texts,180 mb to last 3 months (very little data but I generally keep cell data turned off and only use Wi-Fi, which is also off except when I need it). The other way is with a 1-yr 400 minute card (what I use) which costs about $100 and gives and Android Tracfone 1200 min, 1200 texts, 1200 Mb to last for a year.
I think expensive phones are just a status symbol I do not need.
I have an ereader, a good camera, a good laptop.
- Will iphone 5 phone cover fit alcatel star 6010? I have the Alcatel star 6010 i have compared it to the iPhone 5 its the same width but about 2 inches shorter i bought a silicone HK case for iPhone 5 as it should the alcatel as its more or less the same size and they don't have many cases for the Alcatel would the phone case adjust well to the phone or would it fall out
- More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
- My Alcatel one touch can't receive texts? So my friend has an iPhone 5s and I have an Alcatel one touch which was pretty cheap anyways I can't receive his text messages i don't know what's going on.
- In terms of general speed, how good is the Iphone 5? Does it freeze alot? Or is there a better smart phone because my contract runs out soon and I can get an upgrade Please TRY NOT TO GIVE ME BIASED ANSWERS, FOR IPHONE OR ANY OTHER PHONE. BE FACTUAL. NOT BIASED.
