I use too much data on my iPhone?

My bill cycle doesn't end until the 14th and I just got a text saying I uses 90% of my data… The thing is, they texted me yesterday saying I only used 65%?! Where did all this data go in one day!

*** i hate that! Are you on a family plan? Maybe your brother done jack it!

Hello to best answer our question if you have a family plan then someone else using massive amounts of data will mess you up. Also watching movies and YouTube burns the the data the fastest. Another possibility is that when you leave apps open then it continuously burns the data just by leaving then open.

Open apps, running lots of apps in the "notifications" area, having mail running all the time, etc. Will use up data constantly.

Before you go to sleep, double click the start button, along the bottom of the screen all open programs will show, hold your finger down on any one, a minus sign will show on each app, hit the minus sign on each app and it will close, it won't be deleted, just close, then no data use overnight. Also go into your settings and check notifications and remove any apps you don't need open all the time notifying you of things. In mail, have it checked less offen, maybe every hour not all the time.

Those are a few things that help a lot. Other data saving ideas are available at the Apple site.

If you are on a plan, data usage doesn't update in real time. Data always takes longer to update than your calling credit. Always assume you have used more than what is indicated.
