I've deleted almost everything on my iphone 4 but still just a gig of free space?

So i've honestly deleted all downloaded content on my iphone 4 and it says i've used 6.4 gb of data and only 1.1 gb of space! How do I make more space! I only have iOS6 btw.

A huge chunk of the space could be used by your current OS. Also just reset the phone to its factory settings if you really need that free space. You can set your iphone to sync to itunes if you need to save your information.

  • My iphone has something wrong- other is taking up almost 6 gig So I have an iphone 4. The category "other" is taking up literally All MY SPACE. I've had to delete all my music, apps, only have a few pictures, not too many contacts or anything like that, yet "other" keeps eating up more and more space. It started taking up around 5gig and now it's taking up almost 6gig. It's making me hate my iphone, since there's no room for even 5 songs anymore. What could this be?
  • IPhone still says i have 20GB of photos when i deleted everything? And before you ask, yes i deleted everything from my recently deleted folder and yes i tried the date & time trick, nothing worked. Its frustrating because thats 20GB i could be using for something else. I backed up all my photos and everything is deleted and gone but it still says something is occupying 20 gigs on my phone. Is there a fix for this? Or will i have to call apple or actually go into the store
