I've found an iPhone on the floor how do I find out who's it is?

Any answers?

If you're able to unlock it (i.e., it doesn't have a PIN or password), you can try calling someone on the contact list and ask them. There may be an "owner info" section in Settings--not sure. There's on Android, so I'd assume there's something similar on iOS. If you can't find out, just turn it in to the police.

When you can uncover this (we. At the., it does not possess a PIN NUMBER or even pass word), you can test phoning somebody about the get in touch with checklist and get all of them. There might be a good "owner info" area within Settings--not certain. There's upon Google android, therefore I would presume there's some thing comparable upon iOS. If you can't discover, simply transform it into the law enforcement.

Is it locked? If so hold it for a few days to see if the person is using 'find my iPhone' to locate it. If unlocked try and check contacts for a person to call so they can alert the owner. Might find the owner in contacts--should anyway. All else fails, turn into law enforcement.

If you can keep it charged. At some stage it will be called. You can simply ask them to tell you whom the contact owner is. Or contact Apple support directly, the will have logs or where this item is sold to. Might be able to back trace.

The only way I can think of is figuring out who the carrier is and asking them. Especially if he has the phone locked.
