Wait a month and get the iPhone 8

Upgrade to the 4Q.

I'd be tempted to go for the SE because it's low priced and a familiar size, and as fast as a 6s. A 7 would last an upgrade cycle longer.

'Anonymous' is right, the product announcement is coming right up and if you can hold off that long even better phones will be available. Maybe dig up a used phone to hold you over, then sell that when you're ready.

The 7/7 Plus if you could or wait to see what they announce next month & then go from there.

  • When getting a replacement iPhone do apple give you the same model or a newer model? I have an iPhone 5 and on Tuesday I'm getting a replacement because of the battery. Would the "geniuses" give me a newer model (like the iPhone 5c or IPhone 5s) or the same model.
  • Should the US Convert its military to a technology-driven guerilla model? For the price of a good aircraft carrier, you could buy a whole bunch of iPhones and coffee cans full of nails. We could contract with Russia when we needed an armored vehicle taken out, sort of like we do now for space payloads. Assad uses chems again? We blow his hands off next time he opens his mailbox. Total cost of the operation would depend on what an old iPhone goes for on eBay that day.
  • Is there an iPhone adapter for the newer model to the older model? I recently bought an iPhone 5c and got an ihome for it. The phone got stolen and now I have to downgrade to a 4s but you still want to be able to use the ihome. Is there an adapter for the smaller charger to the newer charger?
  • Is a two year contract actually two years? I just recently got a new job that will allow me to splurge a little bit and finally upgrade my phone. I hope to switch from Straight talk over to AT&T so i don't have to continue paying $300+ when I need a new phone. The iphone 6 is about $100 with AT&T s two year contract, and then I'm eligible for an upgrade. Will I be held in that two year contract or would I be able to upgrade earlier to a more recent version? How much does it generally cost to upgrade early?
