I want to buy a USED Iphone 5, how do I know that it's safe to buy?
Looking on craigslist and see many people are selling iphone 5 for a great price. Problem is, I heard many people buy an iphone and phone locks up within a couple of days and finds out it is reported as stolen. Not sure if this is true, but what can I do to check or anyway of transferring the name over to me (in case one day I lose it myself)?
I apologize if I sound completely clueless about all this, and also please don't go into bashing the iphone 5. You have your preferences and I have mine (Ex. Iphone is not too chunky like the others). But yea, help me?

- Should I buy a used iPhone 5 on Amazon? Is it safe? IIm currently 14 and I can't really be getting a lot of money. I've been doing a ton of research and I've found a lot of offers on Amazon for iPhone 5 s for up to £160. For me this is a great deal but I really don't want to be scammed by some China dummy iPhone. IIm really unsure so what do I do?

Then I asked how fast is the processor like 1.2 dual people buy them because its more mainstream and because their friends have iPhones Samsung is way better based on specs and technology the iPhone 4s and 4 processors are very slow
- Is it safe to leave my iphone plugged in and on safe? I have to download sometbing that will take multiple hours, i eould like to know if it is safe to leave my iphone 4s plugged in charging while the screen remians on. Will the screen stop working?
- Is it safe to buy an used Iphone 5s at Bestbuy? Cos that is the only way I can afford it. I don't want to get the refurbished ones cos I have to have it shipped and I'm afraid someone would steal it.
