I want to buy expensive things?

Hi there I was wondering as to how can I become a babysitter? Not like a career but something I can have as a way to buy my own stuff. Like for example I want the iPhone5s 32GB the iPhone 5s comes out in like either september or octorber so I have plenty of time. Right now I have a Mectro PCS galaxy and I hate it lol had it for two years I want to upgrade. Anyway I had a laptop since I was 10 years old (I'm 15 now) and it broke because it was old so I need a new one. And I want to buy my own because my dad doesn't really have the money to get those things, so I'm not going to cry to him about how I don't have any nice things because I know my dad does the best he can for me. Like for christmas he only got me one thing and that was the ps3 when I wanted more but like I said he didn't have the money. I also want clothing from Victoria Secrects, Gilly Hicks, True Religion, American Eagle I think you get the hint lol. So what's the best way to start? And I was wondering how do I go about as to cleaning someone house washing there car and running errands for them to get money? I want nice things so I'm willing to earn it: ] thanks for your suggestions!

Print up some flyers listing the things you are willing to do and tuck them under door mats or rubber band them to doorknobs. Be sure to give your phone number. If someone calls, it would not be a bad idea to have a reference, that is an adult who knows you to be honest and willing to work.

I like nice things too.

Good for you for wanting to pay your own way! That's excellent!

Go to the library and get a book on starting a small business. (Or look on-line.)

That's what you're doing -- starting a small business. (Don't let the idea intimidate you. It's easier than it sounds. Plus, you don't have to do the whole set-up. Just get marketing ideas.).

Get the word out: Make a small website (Use a free blog site like www.blogger.com or something similar). Make business cards (www.vistaprint.com). Post flyers/cards around at coffee shops, churches, etc. Have your parents tell other people at their work. (Lots of people at my work are always looking for babysitter… )

Stay organized.

Be safe. There's lots of nice people out their looking for hardworking teenagers. There's also a lot of creeps out there. Until you've done a couple of jobs for someone, always take a parent/friend with you on a job. Always let your parents know where you are.

  • Will my monthly phone bill be more expensive if I buy the iphone 5s? I have the iphone 5 right now with AT&T, I'm planning in buying the iphone 5s when it comes out on Friday at the apple store. I'm not sure if buying this phone will raise my monthly phone bill or if there's any other payments I'll have to make besides the $200 to buy the phone
  • Is it bad for a poor kid to have expensive things? My parents are low-middle class but i always buy expensive clothes so i can look good and fit in with the other kids. I feel guilty doing this, but i just want to fit in. Almost everybody in my school has smartphones, so i bought an iphone. Need to fit in but i feel so guilty. I don't want to empty my parents' bank account. btw i beg for all the stuff, my parents didn't want to get it for me. I feel even more guilty.
  • I want to get an iPhone but the plans are too expensive? So right now I have a scrappy $5 Verizon phone that costs like $5 a month for 500 min and unlimited text. I want to get similar plan with the iPhone (with 4g as well) but I can't afford most plans with internet. Should I go with the lowest amount of internet? Like is unlimited really necessary?
  • I want some cool things to buy? What technology to get? I want to get some touch screen things, i have a budget of up to £500 i've already got iPhone 5 and a touch screen watch. Please list some awesome tech below thanks
