I want to change my iphone 4s to note 2 on EE contract is it possible?

I just recently found about how good the samsung galaxy note 2 is and i want to swap my iphone 4s for one. I'm on a 2 year conract paying £20/m on EE in the uk( so far i have been paying for 6 months) and apparently the note 2 is the same amount of money. Is it possible to end my contract for my iphone? If so about how much would it cost? Or can i stay on the same contact and just swap phones?
Can someone please tell me the cheapest way to swap my iphone 4s for a note 2.

My advice is if your happy with the service, don't cancel your contract. Either look on a site like Craigslist and buy a note2 for your carrier, or buy the phone from the store and jus move your number over to it. At that point you can sale you iphone afterwards to try and make up for some of the money you spent on the galaxy. Hope this helped, good luck.
