I want to create space for iOS 6 update on my iPhone?
I'm currently at 1.4 GB open but I need 2.4. What should I do to lower my number without deleting my music and photos all together?
Erase the apps that you thought were cool for a day and then never opened again, should be a lot.apple is filled with useless one time apps.
Dude, this is not rocket science, just delete some stuff.
You can try deleting applications that you never use or don't use often. Try to back up your iPhone prior to updating it to another iOS. I'm sorry I can't explain it clearly-- it's because of broken iPod Touch.
Another thing you can do is compress.mp3 files into "Apple format" (I apologize again) (option available on iTunes) and re-syncing all the music to your iPhone. That can save about a few memory space depending on number of songs synced into the iPod Touch.
- My iPhone suddenly went from having 9.4 gb of free space to 7.5 gb of free space? I didn't download any apps or anything, or record any videos or take pictures. I didn't do anything, it just all of a sudden happened today. How can I fix it? I have a 16gb iPhone 5
- IPhone used space and available space are far from adding up? On my phone it says 12gb used space and 1.5gb available but I have a 16gb phone, while leaves a 2.5 gb space gap. Does iOS take up that much space on its own or is something wrong?
- IOS 6 update available space? I was going to update my iPhone 4, but it said I haven't got enough space available. So, I deleted tons of music, apps, and photos, and still haven't got enough space. It requires 2.5 GB of available storage. I've only got 1.1.Is it even worth deleting most of my stuff?
