I want to sell my iPhone and buy a simple cheap phone, are my reasons legit?

I bought my iPhone 1 month ago.

What I really want to do:
Sell it for the price( or somewhere near it) that I bought it, and buy myself a simple phone with no internet, no camera, just for practical stuff, like calls and messages.

Reason why I want to sell it:
I'm trying to live a life that is not so technology dependant.fThis whole thing started 3 months ago when I realised how technology affects my life, and I deactivated my fb. I wanted iPhone in the past, and as soon as I got my first paycheck, I used the money for this. Didn't think it through, now I regret it.

Why I haven't done it yet: I'm afraid others will think I'm nuts for selling this beautiful phone, and I don't want to explain myself to everyone who asks: Why did you sell it?

What is your opinion?

I commend you on your desire to sell your phone and "upgrade" to s simpler device. Your reasons are yours and no one else's business. A simple answer such as "Because I wanted to" (said in a respectful, non-sarcastic tone) is sufficient explanation to anyone who might ask why you decided to change out your phone.

I believe you were smart to allow yourself 3 months to see if you could live without Facebook. This way you are better able to know if you will be able to live with having a less tech savvy phone. Commendable.

Now that you have decided to sell the Iphone, do so. Yes, there will be those who believe you to be "nuts" but remember you are not the first person to be thought of as such. You are in good company (think Steve Jobs, who believed in his "nutty" dream to have a personal computer in every home?)

Hope this helps you. Cheers!
