I want to take my iPhone on holiday to take pictures, will it charge to use my phone?
I'm going to Jamaica and I want to use my phone to take pictures. I will turn off 3G and I won't use it for calls and texts. I was wondering if it will still cost?

No it won't cost if you are taking pictures.
If you switch it to airline mode, it will be a glorified iPod touch with the ability to make calls if you switch it back to phone mode
You won't pay any additional charges in airline mode, however you will still have to pay any monthly contract you're committed to
Also turn of the roaming data etc then no it will not charge to double check you can call up your phone provider and apple to make sure and be on the safe side
Nope you're just taking pictures which requires no data or minutes or texts. So take as many pictures as you want! Only suggestion is if you don't have a higher memory iPhone toss them on to iCloud using Wi-Fi if it is available!

- Should I take my iPhone 4 on Holiday with me? So, I'm going to The Gambia in Africa on the 19th and I don't know if I should take my iPhone 4 with me? I have been to The Gambia b4 and I'm fine with everything else. It's the safety i guess you could say of the phone. E.g. Losing it Getting Stolen
