This is why it is best to have a professional do it.
Most of them manage to let out a lot less of the magic smoke than D-I-Yers do.
Maybe it's repairable by the right person, but don't count on it.
Dang sounds like you have to get a whole new phone now. Why didn't you just go an apple store and get it repaired? Or maybe went to a shop that repair phones for under $100. But yeah sounds like you need a new phone now but maybe just give it a few days and see if it comes on.
- What's a good word to put on a ribbon? I'm designing an iPhone case for a friend and it's basically a doodle of a ribbon. One of the strands goes down to the bottom and as it goes down, it gets bigger as if it was coming towards you. I want to put a word on that strand but I'm not sure what, any ideas? - Screen of my IPhone went black and now it won't turn on, what is wrong? The screen on my IPhone 4 went black and now it won't turn back on. It didn't get wet or anything Please Help! It was fully charged when this happened AND when I plug in it will not even light up.
