Ichat on macbook and iPhone?
If I'm on my macbook while texting on my iphone, is there a way to stop my iphone ichat messages or whatever from sending alerts to my computer as well?
Not really. You can always put your Mac's Notification Center on Do Not Disturb, but for the most part iCloud knows when you're sending a message from your iPhone or your Mac.
Messages will be improved with OS X Mavericks this fall.
- New iphone and syncing to a used macbook (which old iphone was synced onto)? I'm thinking about getting the new iphone 6 but id be syncing it to my macbook pro, i'm just wondering if i would lose my photos i have stored on there, or would they sync onto my new phone, and can i stop this? I'm giving my 5s to my mum and ill be deleting the photos and everything on there so itll be new for her to use. Can someone who's good with this sort of thing help me out?!
- My iphone keeps sending texts instead of ichat messages? I know the people I'm messaging have an iphone so it should be going through. Just wondering how to fix that!
- Iphone texting other iphone user, no ichat? I have 3G and my ichat is on. When texting other people with iphones my ichat works and appears as blue. But, I was texting a friend and all my texts are being sent as regular text messages. We text all the time and usually ichat always works. I know my phone is fine. He is travelling, so does it mean his ichat is off?
- IPhone 5S and Macbook pro, or Android phone and windows laptop for college? So i have an iPhone 4S, and i want to try something different because i've had many problems with it. I've come to the conclusion that for college i should get apple or android for college. If i went for apple, it would be an iphone 5S, and a macbook pro. I don't have a clue about android or windows laptops, so if you could recommend phones and laptops.
