ICloud automatically downloaded music to iTunes?
So I recently accidentally upgraded my iPhone, and was then forced to update iTunes to the newest version, and I found that there were droves of music in my library that I had deleted (as well as deleted from the actual iTunes folder on my computer) a while ago, and they all had a little cloud icon in the top right corner.
I deleted thousands of songs because, obviously, I didn't want them anymore, but now they're back, and I really do not want to have to go through my entire library deleting music.iTunes support is being entirely unhelpful, so I was wondering if there was a fast way to delete all the music from the cloud, as well as maybe disable the cloud?
It's a feature I personally dislike, and this sort of this is really really aggravating.
Thanks!
(P.S. I'm a PC, not a Mac.)
Added (1). By the way, I don't even actually have an iCloud account (on my iPhone (4S. And it's not technically turned on in iTunes, but apparently all of this music is "available for download from the cloud" and 1) I don't want to download any of these and 2) the important bit is how to I get rid of all of these? If possible I really really don't want to have to delete all of them manually.
Do you have iTunes match on?
If you don't know. Go to the Store menu, and see what it says about iTunes Match. Mine says "Turn Off iTunes Match"
Edit #1:
do you have a itunes account. (If so, you have a iCloud)
I don't know if this will work, but in the view menu, there's a button that says hide music in the cloud, try that
Edit #2:
Did it work?
- Why can't I drag my downloaded music to my itunes? Sometimes I download music from mp3 skull and save it to my computer and then drag into my itunes for my iPhone whatever and it always works. But I just saved a song and when I just tried to drag it into my itunes there was a little red circle symbol with the line through it saying no, is there anyway I can fix this? I tried re-connecting it and doing it without the phone plugged to my computer but still nothing… Help please!
- When you have an iPhone 4s, does iCloud automatically back things up? Or did you have to turn it on before it could back anything up? I just lost everything on my phone and I'm trying to restore it from my iCloud but I don't know if it will work since I never looked into iCloud. Does it work automatically?
- My downloaded music won't drag into my iTunes When I open my downloads file on my computer, and open my " on this iPhone " tab in my iTunes, and try and drag my downloaded song into the tab it has a red circle with a slash, and it won't sync my music into the " on this iPhone " tab. I don't understand why it's doing this, because before I updated my iTunes it worked. I tried to re-install iTunes and it's still not working Help?
