Icloud still on iphone i bought from someone?
I bought an iPhone, just to use like an iPod and the icloud from the other person is still on there. It says it still needs a password to delete it because the locate my iPhone thing is on and locked, any way to get rid of this without losing the stuff I just put on the apps I just put on the iPhone? Oh! I do have an iTunes account with a lot of apps I want but I'm afraid to plug it in cause it might think it's not my iPhone.
That iCloud thing is the anti-theft thing, only the previous owner can unlock it, not even Apple can unlock it once it's in that state. You need to ask the person you bought it from for their help.
- I bought an iphone 5 from someone? My old phone broke and I sold it for an iphone 5 and now it's asking me to insert a sim card to activate it. The iphone 5 is from ATNT and I also have atnt, but i didn't have micro sim. I was wondering could I bring it to atnt, to activate the phone?
- Old iphone Icloud lock still enabled after I buy a new iPhone with icloud on it? If I had my iPhone stolen with icloud lock on and I was tracking it. But I buy a new one and activate the icloud and tracker, does that mean the old iPhone is unlocked? What happens to it? Will I be notified if someone turns it on? Can I track it?
- If i give someone in China an iphone bought in America will they be able to use it? I want to give someone in China an iphone as a gift. But i'm wondering if they'll be able to use it there? Like to sign it up with one of their phone carriers or something.
- How to clear someone someone else's iCloud info off my Iphone 5? I got a used iPhone but the previous owner didn't wipe the phone and it still has all of his data on it. When I try to log off his iCloud or reset the phone it asks for his iCloud password. Is there a way to do this without his password? It's my brother's boss's old phone so I feel a little weird asking for his password.
