Yes, but you need a UK SIM card in it. When setting up set the phone to UK and you are ready to go

It will be locked to whichever network it was sold for over here In the US such as AT&T or verizon. It will work for your frequencies and bandwidth ranges in the UK just fine only thing is that you will have to Jailbreak the iphone and Unlock it to use another carrier SIM card or provider in the UK.

if you are only traveling to the UK and have a US carrier (verizon etc) thrn it will work as well only you will get roaming charges.

If it's locked to a US carrier then you'd red to get it unlocked first. If it's unlocked then it should work

If it is unlocked. If not, no.

If it is CDMA then you need to get it flashed
If is is GSM you need to have it unlocked
