If I break my iPhone 4S can I replace it with an iPhone 5?

My 4s isn't broken. I have a Verizon insurance thing I pay for every month so that if it breaks, I can replace it. I was just wondering that if I did break it do I have to replace it with another 4s or could I replace it with an I phone 5?

They will only replace it with an iPhone 4S. If the iPhone 4S is out of stock, but they have other phones such as the iPhone 5, then they'll replace your broken phone with that. If you break your device, you'll most likely be charged for it unless it's a software issue that you're having. Now, you may come across a customer representative that may hook you up. Haha. It's happened to me before.

Verizon will only replace it with another Iphone 4S. If the store you go to is out of stock they will Fed Ex you a replacement phone to your home. But that will be a Iphone 4S. If you wanted to get the Iphone 5 you will have to either upgrade your account, (sign another 2 year agreement if your eligible to) if not you will have to pay full retail cost.

  • If I break my iPhone 4, can I upgrade to an iPhone 5? I have insurance on it and my carrier is Verizon. My iPhone got washed in the washing machine and I was wondering instead of giving me another iPhone 4, can I pay a little extra (not full upgrade price) for an iPhone 5? Thanks! I've had my iPhone 4 for about 1 year and a half.
  • Can you jail break your iPhone 4S on iOS 6.1.3? I've heard that redsn0w or Evasi0n released some software that can jailbreak iOS 6.1.3. With an iPhone 4s. I almost literally have no idea what I'm doing so can someone just send me a link to download something so I can JB my device and a video tutorial on how to do it or thoroughly explain how to?
  • Can you jail break a Verizon Iphone 5? My boyfriends iphone 5 stopped turning on so he took it to verizon and purchased a whole new phone. He forgot he had a lifetime waranty, so he gave it to me and i send it back to apple and received a new one. The problem is, I don't go through verizon, i go through Tmobile. Is it possible to jail break it, or simply just use my tmobile micro sim card? If possible, how would I do it?
  • Can you break an iPhone by taking pictures too fast? Like, if you keep pressing the camera button over and over again and take about 100 or so pictures in a row. Could you break your phone?
