If I buy a iphone 6 for AT&T will it work for tmobile?

My brother had a phone from AT&T and it worked for tmobile, so I was just wondering?

Yea if it has a sim card slot if not itll still work but youll have to go through this process that takes time

If you buy it unlocked then yes, but if you buy it and it is locked to AT&T, it is very hard to unlock it, but unlocked phones can cost more, just check whether it is locked or not
