If I buy an iPhone 4S at target can they activate it with my phone number?
I don't have a upgrade available so the Verizon store won't let me buy it.
Yes you can have same number but dude I would go for the iphone 5
It has to be a Verizon iPhone, and it can't have a contract with it - so you'll be paying full price.
And actually Verizon stores SHOULD let you buy it too even if you don't have an upgrade available, but they'll make you pay full price.
But I have heard that some Verizon stores won't do this even though they're supposed to:

If that happens, try another store, or buy it from the Verizon website.
Once you have the phone, call *611 on it to switch it to your Verizon account.

- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.

It just says waiting for activation and i can't select my phone number i the send and receive section.
