If i buy an iPhone from metro pcs will it be unlocked automatically?
I want to buy an iPhone SE and metro has the best price that I've been able to find. If I buy te phone from there, does it come unlocked and can I activate it on another service provider. I want to activate it on T-mobile prepaid as they have a deal I like more. Or does the phone come activated with metro pcs and I will need to pay months under metro to be able to unlock it.
They are usually locked to 1 carrier, all new phones usually are, it's the only way to get them slightly cheaper because the carrier takes some of the cost of the phone if you buy one.
if you buy a sim free or carrier free phone, it will be much more expensive but will be unlocked.
Pay for the phone full price up front and you can get the phone unlocked from ANY carrier, to then use that phone on any compatible carrier as soon as you like.
- Will Metro PCS New Sim card for their 4G LTE work on my Iphone 4 thats unlocked? I have an iphone 4, iphone 4s and a 5 now and i know Metro pcs has been using sim cards for their 4G network instead of the CDMA and hence using the sim cards for service, so would i be able to use metro pcs on my iphone thats unlocked? On any of those?

- Can i use my unlocked iphone 3gs to metro Pcs service? Well since now i've heard that metro has the "bring your own device" service, i've been hearing. That you can use iphone 4, 4s, and iphone 5 to metro, but never found out about the older iphones so can it be possible to use the older iphones to metro?
