Added (1). Straight talk uses verizon and sprint, at&t towers not there own
1. No cause for one that is on a straight talk plan (straight talk is a carrier)
2. If you want a unlocked iPhone 5 you have to buy it through apple.com
3. A unlocked iPhone only works on HSDPA networks so Verizon's lte will not work
- Will an unlocked iphone 4S work for tmobile if it isn't factory unlocked? I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.
- Will an unlocked iphone 3g work with Verizon if i put in an AT&T sim card? I got a friend's iPhone 3G, it was originally AT&T but i unlocked it, can i use the AT&T sim card that was originally in it and have it work for verizon?
- Will a unlocked sprint iphone 5 work on verizon? My girl friend is due for an upgrade on her sprint and i wanted to know if we can get the iphone 5 have sprint unlock it and use it on my verizon, is that possible?
- Straight Talk and iPhone 4s (VSW towers) I recently bought an unlocked iPhone 4S (originally from AT&T) from a lady at work. I'm switching to Straight Talk. In my area, Verizon gets the best service. I know that ST uses GSM phones. Another lady at work says that her family got ST phones that use Verizon towers. I was curious if ST uses Verizon towers and if this iPhone 4S will use those towers when I activate and port my number? I want to have good service, so I'm hoping if it will bounce off of the Verizon towers here.
