If I by an iphone without getting a plan can I still download apps off the app store?
I'm planning on buying an Iphone off of Ebay for my daughters birthday that is this Friday & I don't plan on actually paying for it every month or whatever she just wants to download apps for it like Kik & such. Can you download all that from the app store still if it is not turned on? Or do you need to pay for it every month in order to be able to download things?
You can't use it at all unless you have an account or a contract, it's an apple product they don't do generosity
Yes you can, but only thru Wi-Fi. You'll need internet to access/utilize an online app. Once you turn on the phone it will say "no SIM card" - just ignore that. Better yet, go to settings and put the phone in airplane mode, which deactivates the phone's cell radios.
As long as you don't update the iOS, it should work fine.
Buy an iPod they're cheaper ɑnd do exactly what you asked.
