If I get an iphone and reset it, will the sims card work?
I bought an iphone from a friend and the sims card got blocked from the network (AT&T) as soon as I tried it. So I tried to reset it wireless, but it asked for a passcode that the previous owner did not know. After i realized this, I decided to reset it the old-fashioned way and reset through the computer…
Now, before I spend another wad of cash on a sims card, will the phone work now that I have reset it?
No, resetting the phone has nothing to do with the SIM card.
Resetting the phone will delete all personal content, account records and set it back to the like it was when it was first purchased.
The SIM card is separate it contains the account info specific to your wireless carrier. You can't delete the account info via your phone's operating system.
