If I have an Iphone 4s can I switch providers?
I have an IPhone 4s and I just can't afford to pay the AT&T bill anymore. I'm very interested in the Virgin Mobile prepaid plan for $30 a month. What I want to know is, can I take the IPhone I have now and switch it to Virgin Mobile?

All AT&T devices use GSM.
Virgin uses CDMA.
There's no way to make a GSM device work on CDMA networks.
If you got the iPhone 4s at AT&T you can't switch. If you got it from the apple store then you can.
- What service providers will allow me to use an unlocked iPhone? My contract is up for Verizon and I have a 4S. I really don't want to pay $110 a month when I'm not leasing a phone. I don't want a new phone, and I know virgin won't let you use an unlocked phone. I want something similar where I only pay around $50 a month for phone/data/messaging.

So if I were to terminate my contract with Sprint would it be possible for me to use my phone with other providers such as Boost Mobile, NET10 and Straight Talk?
- What mobile providers can i use a verizon unlocked iphone 4s? I have an iphone 4s unlocked from verizon, and i want to use it on a prepaid service, but virgin mobile doesn't let you use other carriers, so any other carrier i could use it on?
