If I lose my iPhone, can I retrieve my old data if I buy a new iPhone and log into my iCloud account?
Basically if you backup your iCloud data will it transfer wirelessly to your new iPhone?
If you have backup on iCloud or iTunes, you can get back your data on your new iPhone when you Restore it.
You'd have to initiate the backup, but yes you could do that.
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points

I've called Apple and sent a receipt for proof of purchase, but they said it's invalid, because the SN doesn't match which doesn't make sense. Is there another way to just erase everything off the phone myself?
