If I previously jailbroke my iPhone 4, will AT&T deny my request to unlock it?

I jailbroken the phone this year(I think when iOS 5 was released). But ever since a certain patch update, the jaibrake feature disappeared. I was always too lazy to re-jailbrake it again. So my question is, even though my iPhone was previously jailbroken, could AT&T deny my request to unlock it?

You don't need att to unlock the iphone. You can do it here: http://gsmunlocklabs.com/unlock-iphone/

it's a permanent unlock, just like a "factor unlock". All you need is a new sim, your IMEI and itunes.

Hi, there shouldn't be a problem, unless the phone is blacklisted. Anyway, you can get a permanent carrier authorized unlock for AT&T with this service just for $9.99: http://www.fastgsm.com/en/apple/apple/iphone-4/unlock/country-network

If they do, hire a company to do it for you… They will deal with AT&T and have it done within a few hours.

  • Will my cancellation request be accepted by amazon? I ordered a iphone 4 otterbox case and then about an hour later I realized I didn't need it & then I requested to cancel it. Now I'm wondering if it will be cancelled and will my money be kept? And how long will it take for it to be cancelled?
  • We could not complete your itunes store request - Apple "The network connection could not be stablished" - "An unknown error occurred (-50)" So I downloaded iTunes on my new desktop and plugged my iPhone, when I try to sign in to download all my apps to my computer it says the above things. I have tried all I could to go around it, I uninstalled iTunes and re-installed again. I can't really find how to report this to Apple… So this has to do. Any help?
  • Meetme, request rates are too high? So I just made a meetme yesterday and I downloaded the iPhone version for my iPad, but recently it has started saying my request rates are too high. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and restarted ect. Any ideas?
  • Is it kosher to request tips on how to unlock an iPhone 4 from bell for free? I've searched some small businesses that off this service, and all of them almost always jailbreak the phone, which I don't want to do, because it would take up way too much space on my phone (I already tried this). Do you have any suggestions? And yes, I have googled it, but most things look like scams. It needs to be bell specifically, also.
