If I report a phone as lost/stolen AFTER the thief gets a chance to put a sim card in, would it lock the phone just like that?
Got my iPhone SE stolen a few days ago, and Koodo is supposedly calling me tomorrow to ask if I want to report it as stolen. Is it possible that the thief is able get away with this?
Added (1). Also if they manage to unlock the carrier somehow?

They would likely try to reset it & you can't get far without the Apple ID & password, if that's any consolation.

- My iPhone 4 was stolen, will the thief be able to access my phone's content? My iPhone 4 was stolen unfortunately. It is locked with a passcode. If the thief syncs it to iTunes, will he able to access my iPhone's content (i.e.pictures, notes, contacts). I'm really worried he'll be able to get to my information and whatever I have stored in my phone.

- IPhone stolen, has a PIN lock, can a thief access my data in any way? IPhone was stolen last night and I have a PIN lock on it. Is there any way at all for the thief to access my data bar guessing the combination.
