If I restore my iPhone from backup, will it erase all my music during the process?
So like, does it reset everything else except the information backed up?
I restored my iPhone and I put in new music and stuff, and I've been using it ever since until I recently remembered I had some important pictures in my backup I did before I restored it.
I want to know if the restore from backup button will end up deleting all my music, videos, apps etc. Can anyone please answer me?
No, a backup and the subsequent restore will not restore any app data, just information. HOWEVER, if you have synced with the computer before, after you restore, it will automatically sync and you will get all of your information back including app data, contacts, music, et.cetera. All restoring does is 'restores' the firmware, not the software. If you don't know what that mean, it doesn't matter. If you do know what it means, it also doesn't matter.
