If I sent Wi-Fi from my iPhone to my iPad, would they have the same IP address?
I don't really understand what IP address is, is IP address the Internet or the device?
IP address is provided by our internet service provider while your device distinguish identity is MAC address. Yes if you send Wi-Fi from your one device to other, both have same IP.
If you have created a portable hotspot with your iphone, and you connected your ipad to that hotspot, then yes. Your ipad will have the same IP as your iphone. IPs are basically digital addresses for Internet connected devices, and are assigned in certain ways. There are internal IP addresses and external IP addresses. It can be complicated from here forward.
Because you are feeding your ipad Wi-Fi from your iphone, you are therefore sharing the iphone's Internet connection which also includes the iPhones IP address.
Lamanet terms: The ipad is sharing the iPhone's Internet connection. So it's the same IP.
Hoped this helped.
- My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
- My aunt and uncle have the same Apple ID. I think they need separate ones, do they? I've told them to get separate ones in the event that they need to back up their phones or get new ones. Don't they need separate ones? They hardly back up their phones or hook up their iPhones to the computer.

- If new iPhones in the shops have ios 8 installed. Will they still have the same gigabytes? Cause ios 8 takes away 4.1 gigabites and if for example a iPhone 6 with 16 gigabites had ios 8 installed onto it like the rest would it take away some gigabites and when people buy it it would be. 11 gigabytes? I'm 14year old girl saving up for a iPhone 6 and wondering about ios 8 and new phones gigabytes
