If I unlock iPhone 4S will it cause any damage to it? Or will I be banned from getting updates for iPhone 4S from apple?

It depends on the method of unlocking that you use. If you unlock it with a jailbreak unlock then this will void your warranty and mean that any iPhone repairs that you may require in the future wll not be covered by Apple. If you select an official unlock then this will not void your warranty and will also mean that any future updates released by apple will not effect your unlock.

- Third party iPhone charger? How fast can it cause damage? I have always known using third party no name iPhone chargers can wreck your iPhone and stop it from charging properly, so I avoided. But I plugged my iPhone into my friends charger which I realized after was not an apple charger, it was only plugged in for 5-10 minutes before I removed it- could it possibly have already done some damage to my phone? I can't tell if my phone is charging slower or if I'm worrying myself over nothing!

I was wondering if ordering an off brand (amazon) iPhone 6s Plus screen and letting someone who knows how to replace it to replace it. I can create a new account on another device and it works fine but when i log into my phone it says blocked device because of violating the terms and conditions. I have done everything imaginable to try and get back to using instagram. From my searching it seams that the only thing i can do is to get a new phone… Don't wanna do that! If i Jailbreak my phone can i do something to help? Maybe change the udid? Would that help?
