If I update my iPhone 3G iOS to 4.3.1 will it make my phone slower?
Does updating make it slower seeing as it an old iPhone? Last time I updated it made my phone slower but now i can't use any apps, so will updating it make it worse or better?
Most likely worse due to the outdated internals which can't handle the newer ios updates
Yes it will and you will also experience some glitches.
Your iphone will only get slower as you update it more. Technology is improving. So as the software improves the hardware improves. That's pretty much the logic that you have to remember.
For example, the iphone 4 can run ios5 but it's slower now as the software requires more power. So the 4s can handle it better than the 4.
Of couse it will, keeo that in mind that a better software is based on the better hardware! Your software is updated while your hardware is still the one, so what do you think? Maybe you will have to buy another one or be try to be satisfied with this situation!
