If I update my phone, will I lose certain apps that are no longer available in the App Store?
I have been avoiding updating my iPhone 6s because of the news that updating your does make your phone slower. But there's this app I'm thinking of downloading but would need to update to do so.
My only issue is that I have some apps that I use regularly that are no longer available in the updated app stores.
So my question is, if I was to update, would these apps be deleted? Or will they be uneffected?
No that won't remove apps from your device that is no longer in the app store.
The only reason it would remove apps is if you're updating from iOS 10 or older to iOS 11 and if the app is only 32bit. IOS 11 doesn't support 32bit apps so they won't run/install if you're on iOS 11
You won't lose the apps but if those apps are not supported on the newer iOS then they will not work anymore.
As far as the slow downs:
1. That concerns batteries that are not in the best shape anymore
2. Apple has since released iOS 11.3 which gives the user the option to optimize for battery life or for performance IF your battery falls into the condition where it is necessary. Not everyone that updates would experience that, therefore given the option in the 1st place.
To answer the question, no, updating does not remove no longer available apps, but eventually (likely) since they are no longer supported they would cease functioning.
- Will Iphone 6 and 6 plus be available on Friday at ATT store? Or any store? I know they are sold out on pre-orders, but I was wondering if there's still a chance there would a limited supply at the store on the 19th. Any info would be great, because the internet isn't helping much. (besides apple store. Closest one is an hour away)
- Why won't Facebook let me move certain photos to certain albums? I want to move certain photos to certain albums and when I click on "edit album" then i hit this arrow button on the picture and when i hit "move to another album" it gave me an option of 2-3 albums to put the picture into. What should I do? The picture i have in the album was from my iPhone that i currently don't have anymore and that's the last picture of it! Please help me! I don't wanna erase the album or any other!
- App Store won't allow me to download certain apps? I have an iPhone 4 which has restrictions on it. I can't get into them. I don't know if the restrictions have anything to do with the fact that I can't download certain apps. As in, the buttons that you click to install the apps are grey; you can't click on them. The only apps I can't download are KiK (which I'm not allowed to have), and any app that has to do with music (besides iTunes). How do I fix this? Or hack into the restrictions?

My Iphone 4 won't let me download some apps from the App Store nothing wrong with the billing information or anything but it shows that it is free on the little box and it won't let me press it. I have deleted some apps from my phone just in case it was a problem with the space left on my phone but nothing has worked. If you can help thanks.
