If I update will it delete my stuff?
I have iOS 7.0.3 and I want to update to 7.1 on my iPhone 4S but I don't know if it will delete picture and apps. And I have no clue how to back up my stuff on to the computer
It will not delete your files and when you plug your phone in it should be automatically set up to back up so you will be good, update away.
No, don't worry nothing gets deleted I already do it in my iPhone 4s (same as yours) and to backup just go to settings, icloud and. If you are sign in at the top of the page it should say storage and backup, then at the bottom of the other page it should say backup now or something like that.
Just install iTunes on you computer and when you plug your iPhone in it will say there's an update. Hit the download and install update button and DO NOT UNPLUG YOU iPHONE FROM THE COMPUTER. If you have enough space on your iPhone you can go to settings>general>sofware update and do it there
