If someone knows your IEMI number, is it a bad thing?
I'm selling an iPhone on eBay. I've given the model number and plenty of pictures. I bought it straight from the Verizon store and it hasn't been opened, I told them all that. But people keep asking for the IEMI number. I was able to look the number up, but I read it uniquely identifies the phone. Should I give it to them? Is is possible these people are not trustworthy and will use the IEMI number for crime/scams?
The only thing they could do is blacklist the number from verizon… They wouldn't be able to do anything other than that. Still, not something i would give out.
just say you will offer a money back guarantee if it comes back as lost/stolen. Its the only thing you can do.
i have heard of people doing that just to screw with someone. Calling verizon and saying their phone (with the given out IMEI number) was stolen and to blacklist it.
- Someone who knows eBay Say i want to sell an iphone for like 200. But i put it up at a lower price to attract attention. I expect to get 200 or more but if the bids don't get up to 200 is there a way i can only sell it if the bids get to a certain price? I don't do ebay if you can tell.
- Someone who knows about technology? I have an iphone. Would it be easy for me to make a video of pictures of me? One that i could put a song to and post to youtube? Do you know of any apps?
- Is your iphone spied on and whatever you do on it someone knows exactly what your doing? For example I know Facebook and things like that are monitored, but on an iphone the apps such as the notes, the weather, the pictures, the videos maps and mail etc, are they monitored too and spied on by people who are monitoring everything you do on your iphone? If just say you wrote something on notes and deleted the note, is that note stashed somewhere in a folder or cache for others to spy on and retrieve who are working behind the iphone?
- Is Corporatism a bad thing or a good thing? I think its a good thing because without it we wouldn't have the things we have today like Xbox 360 and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and Android and IPhones and other things. Face it without Corporatism we wouldn't be where we're today all of our success and technology and medical breakthroughs has Corporatism to thank. Socialism could have never created the technologies and things we use today.
