If someone watches a horror movie on a plane, who's at the wrong, the one watching the movie or the one complaining?

It happened to me and my friend on our flight to vacation from Chicago to Florida. On our portable DVD player (with headphones), we were watching Stephen King's The Langoliers (a horror movie about a commercial flight). And the girl next to us is complaining "Turn that off, it's freaking me out."

We told her "Well stop looking at our screen. Look out the window or at your iPhone."

She even called the flight attended to try and get us to turn the movie off. Lucky the flight attended saw we had the headphones and told her "They're not disturbing anyone".

The one complaining.

I think you were in the right here, you had headphones in after all, however if it was me I would have found something else to watch as clearly the aeroplane based theme was upsetting her. I remember that being quite a good film by the way.

You were in the right, but I found that film so dull as to be unwatchable.

She's wrong. In order for her to watch the movie, she has to deliberately turn her head to face your screen. It's not like you placed the DVD player on top of her food tray in front of her.

She turned her face to face your screen. And she did it deliberately! SHE DID IT DELIBERATELY! SHE DID IT DELIBERATELY! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! :3

You're wrong.

If you're gonna watch a horror movie on a plane, AT LEAST PICK A GOOD ONE! I recommend Snakes on a Plane.

Neither your all missimg opportunities to find a good solution like hiding the screen from others somehow
