They don't have an understanding of how capitalism works. A greedy business just wants to make money. They compete with others doing the same. To be better, you need workers that work as hard as the owner. And the greedy businessperson doesn't care what color, religion or sexual preference a person has, as long as they can represent his business in a positive way. They don't care how long you work there in deterring a raise. Those less than helpful employees are replaceable. A great employee will cost you more money, and you better be respectful to them, as they are not replaceable.
Because they are hypocrats… Talk about one thing and do just the opposite.
