If You JailBreak Your IPhone and then restore it, does your warranty return?
I recently jailbroke my IPhone but then got scared, I then re-stored. Now my lock button does not work and I have to get it repaired. I'm afraid that apple will recognize that I have jailbroken my IPhone and then not repair it. So when I restore my phone does the warranty still stand?
Your warranty does not return. They can tell whether or not the phone was jailbroken when they fix it.
No… You voided the warranty with the jailbreak.
- When you restore your iphone, does it wipe out everything from your itunes? I understand that it will wipe out everything from your physical iphone, but i was wondering if it would wipe out everything on your itunes account to, such as music.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- What if you lose your iphone and get a replacement and then find it? Literally just wondering I don't even have an iphone but these questions just bother me. If you lost your phone (for real) and got a replacement and then months later found it. What would you do?
- Jailbreak then restore iPhone 5? Is it possible to jailbreak my iPhone 5, install app locker- lockdown pro then restore it & keep the said app? Really want an app to lock individual apps on my phone, invariably people get there hands on your phone & in this scenario I want my private stuff to remain private. Not jus speaking of pics, I already hav that app. I mean for things like mail, txt, memos, notes. Don't want to jailbreak my phone if there's an alternative.
