I'm having a problem figureing out which exact hdmi cable to buy for this device?

The link show an an HDMI adapter with a lightning connector at the other end. It is used connect later apple devices ipad 2 and iphone 5+ to display on an HDMI monitor, you still need an additional HDMI-HDMI cable.
There's also a pass through lightning connector next to the HDMI so you can charge the apple device. That are all the same so it does not matter what one you buy, the only difference between a no name one and a band name is the name printed on it, in fact you might find they were made in the same factory if you checked

  • Which off brand lightning charge cable for iPhone should I buy? I have tried the cheaper ones on eBay and one from the tiger store but they wobble in the socket and don't charge it. Can anyone recommend a brand as I don't want to pay for the apple one. (Also it isn't the phone that's faulty as a friends cable worked)

So I stream the movie/tv episode to my laptop then it goes to the tv via hdmi cable. But there's no sound just the picture But if I play a video on you tube it works!
