I'm scared of losing, what can i do?

I usually don't play anything cause i don't wanna lose, for example this words game for iphone, i had a perfect record of 12 wins 0 looses but in a match, my sister was beating me for some points so i panicd and resigned, deleted the app and ill neve play again. I know it sounds silly but i just can't help it, now i'm sad

You don't need to be so hard on yourself like that. Losing is a part of life and the sooner you accept that the better. Don't let that control you.

Losing is a part of life and the human experience, its no shame and it can make a person come back even stronger… Just look at top sports players that lose important matches like federer, djokovic nadal… They have all * lost * important grand slams… But they still work even harder and come back stronger for the next grand slam… You should try to think, adopt the same theology.

You're never gonna win if you don't play

Lol i swear i'm the same way, when i'm i lose, no matter how stupid the competition was, i feel like i've lost everything. Do what i did, use it for sports… Keep practicing until you can't lose… Being afraid of losing isn't a bad thing, its called competitiveness

The only way to overcome any fear is to face it. (And remember, "the only thing to fear is fear itself.")
I know it's cliche advice, but it's the truth. The sooner you begin to accept losing as part of the path to success, the sooner your success will come.

If I can't win I'm not going to play attitude is pretty darn bratty. If you know you're going to win all the time what would be the point of playing, learning strategy, trying harder, being competitive?

With that kind of attitude you are not going to do well in the work world if you have to be a team member on a project. And with that attitude, sooner or later no one is going to want to be around you or invite you to participate.

Don't do anything competitive. Try photography, art, baking cookies.

Unless you get used to losing, life is going to be very very difficult for you. Sometimes people win and sometimes people lose. If you don't "win" the promotion would you quit your job? If you don't "win" another person's love would you stop dating? If you don't win the store sweepstakes would you quit shopping there?

Life is what it is. There's no promise nor guarantee that it is fair. Sometimes bad people win and good people lose.

I'm afraid you'll have to just grow up my young one. Being THIS insecure about something this small is really sad. You'll be ok though.
