IMessage activation problem?
My iPhone pops up with this error message when trying to activate iMessage;
"Your carrier may charge for SMS messages used to activate FaceTime and iMessage"
What does this mean?
Its not an error it's a notification. It's telling you that the company you have your mobile service with may chage you for the SMS messages used to activate these programs - exactly as it says!
- Waiting for activation on iphone 4s imessage? Last night imessage and facetime went out on my iphone 4s and it says waiting for activation. I've tried rebooting it reseting the setting, logging in and out of my apple account, I've searched for a solution but haven't been able to find one. It worked perfectly fine before last night. - IPhone 4 'Waiting for activation' on iMessage? My boyfriend has an iPhone 4 with no number. So we tried to use iMessage using his email, and when I turn on iMessage it says waiting for activation and we're wondering what that could be. And when we try to send a text message using iMessage, it won't work. How do we fix that? We tried turning on and off the phone but it won't work.
