What does it mean when an iMessage is sent as a non iMessage just a regular text message to another iphone? - 1
It means iMessage isn't available, this can be down to:
- No available Internet on either your end or their end (including 3G/4G)
- They/you have iMessage turned off
- their phone is off or on Airplane mode
- they've blocked your email used for iMessage (so it sends via your phone number instead)
Either the iMessage didn't send for whatever reason or the person disabled iMessage
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Why won't my 5c send a message as MMS when it's a long message to a non iPhone user? Whenever I type a LONG message to an SMS user (says Text Message in the messaging "box") my 5c won't convert to MMS and the recipient gets the message in dozens of out of order messages instead of the whole fluid message. I have MMS on in Settings. What can I do and why is it doing this?
- Why can't this stupid Iphone recognize when to differentiate between imessage and regular message? I'm talking about when an iphone user sends me a regular message and my phone sends back an imessage. Why? Why…
- What does this mean: Free Msg: Receiver unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active mean on iPhone's iMessage? I tried sending my friend a text and it replied with this. We haven't gotten into any fights and we hung out for hours recently. Has she blocked me?
