IMessage waiting for activation
For the past 5 hours I've been trying to get iMessage on my iphone 4s to start working again. It keeps saying it's waiting for activation and when I click send&receive my number is grey and won't check. Here's the catch, my mom just got an iphone as well and her number was under the same apple ID, so her number shows up as black with a check next to it as well as the email.
She has her own apple ID now, but that's not changing anything on my iPhone and neither of us can activate imessage for some reason. I've tried multiple times shutting off imessage, the network reset, and turning my phone on and off and nothing has helped. If anyone knows what to do, please help me As soon as possible. Going to the apple store is out of the question right now for reasons, so I really need an answer on how I can fix this alone.
How do I delete the second number off iMessage and stop my number from showing up as grey and uncheckable?
Imessage is acting stupid today for everyone i know with an iPhone so don't worry about it. You can always call customer service about it.
Both Apple's iMessage and Facetime are down for some users.

- Waiting for activation on iphone 4s imessage? Last night imessage and facetime went out on my iphone 4s and it says waiting for activation. I've tried rebooting it reseting the setting, logging in and out of my apple account, I've searched for a solution but haven't been able to find one. It worked perfectly fine before last night. - IPhone 5 on Sprint saying waiting for activation but? It has been saying that for over a day now and the phone says. No service but my dad called sprint and they didn't fix the problem. But is this normal or how long does this take since it has been more than 24 hours and still says the same thing.
