Imported iPhone photo edits separated from the original photo. What can I do?

I imported my photo library from my iPhone 5s to my Windows PC. I found that the images I edited on my phone were reverted to their original form with an AAE file alongside them that contains the edits.

Now, after the photos were imported I had them automatically deleted. Now I'm afraid there's no way I can bring the original photos back to their edited form. Am I right or is there a way to fix it?

Added (1). *deleted from my phone.

You can screenshot the image and then you will have the photo tht won't be imported

  • Where can I find pictures I imported to my laptop? A couple of weeks ago I imported a whole load of pictures from my iPhone to my Sony Vaio laptop, but now I can't find them. I didn't delete them either. I have a whole load of albums arranged by import date, but not this one. How can I find it again? They usually go straight to the 'pictures' section. They did the other night when I imported them, but they aren't there now.
  • What photo app on iphone edits pictures like this? I have an app that can make the picture at an angle but I really want the app that makes this light coloured effect. It isn't an instagram filter. Http://instagram.com/p/fQExFzFXBG/
  • Looking for a photo frame that displays iPhone photos in their original orientation? I have a problem with my digital photo frame. (The company is pandigital) I just downloaded photos from my iPhone to the frame, and they re being displayed incorrectly. Photos that were taken as portrait appear as landscape. (I have to tilt my head sideways to look at the picture) Does anyone know of a solution to this problem, or of a digital photo frame that will display pictures in the orientation they were taken (even if that means black bars)
  • Is there an iPhone app that edits pictures to look like you're smoking? I don't want to use photoshop. Some people I know have edited pics of themselves so it looks like they are breathing out smoke. Is there an app for this?
