Improvements to my website? - updated?

Thanks to those that gave me some recommendations to improve my site.
I have tried to implement these suggestions.

Please can you have a look at my website below and let me know any improvements you can suggest?
I've also included a 'mobile' add on - if you are able can you let me know how it looks and feels on an iphone, ipad, etc.

If i'm honest i'm not very au fait with technology so learning as I go along, so please assume I know nothing!

Finally I have been told pages take a long time to load - how do I correct this? The website was designed through wix.com but domain hosted with fasthosts - it is my problem or one of these?

Added (5). Thanks Margret S - is this the scrolling images or the three smaller ones? Is it hiding the text in the three columns or top header?
(thanks for feedback about picture (just didn't want to put one of my cleaners on the internet - will see what I can find!)

Added (6). Answerman - thanks also, I've tried to reduce the header on all pages and just left the brief description on home page - is this what you meant?

The header of the site is too much big, I suggest to minimize it.why?
because the upper area is very important to your site, it is called (above the fold area). The user shall see 90% of the content in this area and he shall not scroll once he visit the page.
It is very nice site.

The photograph section on the home page is too big and hides some of the text above it on my monitor.
The colours and layour are lovely. I like the feel of the site.
Only other criticism would be that when you have such very good and clear photographs throughout the 'clipart' of the lady doing housework it really tacky and out of place.

I have just looked again and either you have moved the row of three photos down a bit or it was a blip first time round but I can now read all the text above them.
I understand what you mean about using an employee's photograph but could I suggest something similar to your carpet cleaning snap.i. E.wood surface, bright yellow duster and perhaps just a hand in the process of dusting, or a window with a nice garden outside and again just a hand and cloth doing a wipe over.
Good Luck with it anyway the site is very tidy and neat.
