Indestructible/Waterproof iPhone Case?

My parents have agreed to buy me an iPhone 4S for my birthday this year. Since I will be due for an upgrade which gives them a discounted price on the phone, they have also agreed to let me pick out a protective case for it, whichever I want!

I was told recently about a case that is said-to-be "indestructible" and completely waterproof! (Waterproof enough to take videos underwater!) Googling has led me to hundreds of different self-proclaimed indestructible waterproof cases… SO, I need personal opinions from owners! Which case is THE BEST?

Indestructible and completely waterproof iPhone Case? I think that's impossible. I was reading reviews about waterproof case and some people are complaining about the sound being muffled in the case, durability, get cracked, and leaks. But you really need to take your iphone underwater? Haha, personally i think the metal is most protective and cool

Pelican cases are watertight, not for underwater but they are okay if you drop it in, just catch it quick before it floats away.
