Instagram knows where I (location services are off)?

My location services in my Settings on my iPhone are turned off. Yet, Instagram still knows where I'm? In my search tab, it still has "Philadelphia" stories and my county stories. I don't know how to turn this off and I do not know how it knows where I live because the only location tag I have ever used was when I was in Mexico.

Location is obtained from GPS tracking as well as IP tracking and also mobile mast tracing. You would need to turn off your gps. Also it remembers stuff from each browsers cache and any other app's cache that may identify your location which you need to empty.

I'm trying to upload a video to my Facebook page but I click on the status thing that lets you do this and when I click upload existing it come up with a page saying that my location services aren't turned on. But they are. I've turned them off and on, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it so that it comes up with a thing asking if Facebook is allowed to use my location, I click yes but it still won't work. What's wrong, how do I fix it!
  • Is it possible to find a lost iPhone using location services without an App? Is there any way to find my lost iPhone? It should still be powered on with its location services on as well. I don't have any App on the phone that is going to allow me to find it, so an App suggestion unfortunately will not be helpful. I have a general idea of where it is lost (a large school), but I would need specifics in order to find the phone. Any advice?
