Internet runs slow on laptop but not iPhone?
Both are using the same Wi-Fi but when I try to get on a website on my laptop, it basically just stays on a white screen and says it's loading but never loads. Anyone know how to fix this?
When was the last time you did maintenance on your computer?
Do maintenance on your computer, scan for malware and clean dust out and if it has been a while reapply thermal grease to cpu and gpu, then run msconfig and turn off all the programs you do not need. Clean registry… Run check disk and defrag.
Remove all the cookies and temp internet files. Do this often.
It may have been the server or your connection that caused your computer to run slow, but the above needs to be done…
- My iPhone 5s got wet but it still working. But the touch screen is a bit slow. Is it safe to use? I dropped my phone in water but pulled it out immediately. I powered it down, dried it off, and let it sit for 30 or so minutes. At first the screen was red but then turned on and everything works. The touch sometimes is unresponsive. Is it safe to use my phone? I'm letting it air dry by a window because rice can cause erosion… Should I use it?
- Laptop gets slow internet connection, yet all my other devices get it at full speed? This never used to be an issue up until a few weeks ago, we had a 60MB connection that was buffed up to 100, my laptop used to download at around 5.5 - 6MB per second, whereas now its between 2 and 2.5, yet my iphone and all other computers in the house still get the full speed. I have checked the drivers which are all up to date, I can't discover the problem, what could be causing this? And how can I go about solving it?
- Internet is running slow but strength is excellent? The internet on my iPhone & laptop are both running slow. It says excellent connection but when I try to watch a video on youtube or load a webpage it takes forever to load even though i'm in the same room as the router. I called my isp and the solution worked for like an hour. I tried unplugging router. It's not because of multiple devices being on at the same time. Any idea on how to fix this?
- Internet Fast on Some devices but slow on others? I recently got a new internet modem and it is super fast but only on some devices like my iMac, MacBook and iPhone but won't go that fast at all when is being used by my windows laptop or iPads. Can someone please tell me how to fix this As soon as possible I would really appreciate it!
