Iphone 35$ a month. Unlimited data. What exactly does that mean?

I'm going to guess that you are looking at the Virgin Mobile $35/month plan. If I'm correct, you get semi-unlimited data and truly unlimited text - however only 300 minutes of talk time. You can stream music and video, but there's a cap in the fine print as to how much you can actually use before the speed is slowed down to your phone.
The key is to use Wi-Fi as much as possible with these plans, as while they are unlimited - there's a point where they will throttle (slow down) your connection.
- What exactly does turning off Data Roaming do? Living in SK, Canada IPhone 4 under Sasktel. Okay so when I go to work located near the boarder occasionally I get a your now US roaming chargers messages. Does turning off data roaming remove all roaming charges like phone calls, messages, etc or just email and Internet like it says? I'd hate to be billed just because I'm too close. Just been turning off all network connections at work so far and data roaming is usually off anyway.
- What does unlimited messaging mean? Ok I got my first smart phone (iPhone 4) and it says "unlimited texting/minutes/messaging. Does messaging mean I can use kik? Cuz I don't understand if texting and messaging mean the same thing. Please don't be mean!
