Iphone 3g only can make emergency calls
I orded an iphone 3g off of ebay. I received the phone today but when i turn it on i can only make emergency calls in different languages and it won't let me get to anyother screen. It has an itunes cd with an arrow and a cord on it. How do i fix this problem? What is wrong with it?
You need the usb cord that was supposed to come with it. It is a white cord that has a usb on one end and a 30-pin connector to charge your phone on the other side. Once you have the cord, get itunes on your computer and plug the 30-pin connector into your phone and the usb into the usb port into your computer. Open itunes and look to see on the top or the side where it will say iphone and click on that. Set it up from there. It will have all the instructions on how to to set it up.

I haven't turned on my iPhone 4s in quite a while as I got a new one, but I'm trying to sell it and when I turn it on, it leads to the set-up screen that is a gray background that says iPhone on it, & the slider says "slide to set up" in a bunch of languages. However, when I slide it, it leads to the "emergency calls only" screen. How do I get into my iPhone?
- Iphone 4s can't dial emergency number? I have an iphone 4s with iOS 5.1. When I enter the number 112 and dial, it tells me 'emergency call only'. I have tried several other emergency numbers and it does not work. Any solution?
