IPhone 3GS battery occasionally drains fast?
I have an iPhone 3GS which I've owned for about 2 years now. The battery life is usually great, it lasts me a whole day with 3G, Wi-Fi, using apps, watching movies, etc and sometimes I even charge it only once every other day.
However, really occasionally, the battery drains so fast, I have no idea why.It'll only happen maybe once or twice every 4-5 weeks.It'll go from 100% to 20% within 4-5 hours without me even using it. And this lasts about 2-3 days and then it'll be back to the same great battery life. I haven't done any updates or anything, anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is there any way I can fix the battery to make it more regular?
4-5 hours is average for smartphones (yes even the iPhone). Take it to get a new battery if it bugs you so much

Everything looks good except battery. it took about 2.5 hours to full charge, overnight it goes RED no SIM inserted and no usage just idle entire night, i upgraded IOS to 12.x still same issue. Please advice i like to retain this phone if battery issue is resolved otherwise return it.

- My iPhone 4S battery drains really fast? So I got my new iPhone like 2-3 weeks ago and it has such a bad battery. It went from 59%-25% in th matter of not even 2 hours and I checked the usage at 1% and it only had about 5 hours 40 minute usage and 19 hours standby. Is there anyway I can fix this?
